Mark is a lifelong painter from West Virginia. His subjects consist of the natural beauty of the landscape and people around him, studies from the masters and the imagery created by the regional native people. He has also created a body of abstract paintings. This site exists to preserve a record of as many of his works as could be gathered in digital form.  Many were long-since sold and are nestled within homes and families in West Virginia and beyond.  Some are still in Mark’s personal studio or in the possession of friends and family members that made it possible for them to be photographed.  Many of the digital images on this site were preserved from analog slides and therefore are less than perfect reproductions. They are included because they capture the history of Mark’s very extensive work as a painter
